THE TÜWI SOMMERFEST IS BACK AND THIS YEAR WE’RE CALLING IT A FESTIVAL! NOT IN TÜRKENSCHANZPARK THIS TIME, BUT IN & AROUND TÜWI AND ON THREE WHOLE DAYS INSTEAD OF ONE!

WORKSHOPS: 

METAL KEYCHAINS | DE | 14:00–17:00 | Meeting point in front of TÜWI Hofladen Cobble together keychains made of aluminium or steel, guided by a professional metalworker with beat-up tools and materials.

EMPOWERMENT & CIVIL COURAGE – Taking (active) steps against harassment by Emily Hanslik (IG: dierotekarte) | DE | 15:00–17:00 | Meeting point TÜWI Innenhof Discrimination and harassment happen everywhere – this workshop provides concrete strategies to become empowered to act, both as someone affected and as a bystander.

JUGGLING (COURSE 1) | DE/EN | 16:00–18:00 | Türkenschanzpark (fair weather only) Learn to juggle with 3 balls, make your own balls and try out various stations with props. All Levels Welcome!

BREAKING by Elena (IG: _spinelli_rebelli) | DE/EN | 17:00–18:30 | Meeting point TÜWI Innenhof Breaking is an African-American dance form from the hip-hop culture of the South Bronx (1970s). We'll learn basic moves and build them in playfully – no prior experience needed, but sneakers and comfortable clothes are a must!
